Dahn Sao commented that his appointment as Ambassador started off on a good start. It is during his tenure as envoy that some Kuwaiti companies have established investments in his country, such is the case with AlـGhanim Company, which opened a steel manufacturing company in Vietnam. With an investment of fifteen million U.S. dollars, the company also managed to create jobs for the people. Although Vietnam offers a wide range of open spaces and seas, cultural and touristic attractions, developed infrastructures, safe environment, competitive Asian market for business and trade and presence of international investors of multiـbillion companies that include hotels, restaurants, manufacturing companies and more, the need to promote is vital to the envoy”s mission in Kuwait.
Vietnam offers multiple opportunities to visitors depending on the purposes of their visits. Tourism industry has the capacity to compete with other popular Asian destinations. Vietnam”s tranquil beaches and beautiful seas that house five star resorts and hotels along its shorelines, rich and untouched forests and mountains, are ideal for tourists who prefer the outdoors. Vietnam boasts on foreign investors who have established their businesses in the country. Vietnam has successfully changed the view of the world regarding the country”s stigma as a warـtorn country. The country has emerged and enabled itself to compete globally; proofs of this change are manifested in many occasions such as Vietnam having secured its place as member of the World Trade Organization and United Nations Security Council. Ambassador Nguyen added that it is then the responsibility of Vietnam to promote security, peace and stability and look after the well being of its nationals and its alliances.
“I would like to invite everyone to come and visit our country and live the real meaning of true Asian hospitality.
